Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, well sound isolated, and had useful amenities like a safe and a microwave oven. The only downside was the need for better ventilation. The service was top-notch, with friendly and enthusiastic staff, particularly the welcoming receptionist Mr Sabeel. The location was excellent, close to major attractions like the Souq and the Corniche. The dining options were varied and enjoyable, although slightly overpriced. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay.
The hotel offers spacious rooms despite being a little outdated but equipped with all amenities you need during your stay, making it feel very Arabic. A short walk to the Central Souk with plenty of nice restaurants nearby adds to the charm. However, the overall value for money is quite good.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were so nice and comfortable for me, with a spectacular view of the Corniche. They were extremely clean as well. The hotel is a little outdated, but it has all the amenities to meet your needs during your stay.
The rooms were a bit congested and lacked a sofa, which was a downside, but upgrading to a deluxe room offered more space. The service was not as accommodating as expected, with a rush to check me in and a lack of payment clarification. The dining experience, however, provided the best-packed breakfast I've had in a long time. The hotel facilities were adequate, though some items were missing from the room.
The hotel experience had its ups and downs. The rooms, despite some issues like the overwhelming ashtray smell and moldy bathroom needing renovation, offered a small yet cozy space with a small window and a practical kitchen. The service was a mix of accommodating staff and a problematic encounter with a waiter. The location, although near attractions like Souq Waqf and the Corniche, suffered from constant construction noise and crowded surroundings. Dining was satisfactory, with a rich buffet but questionable value. Overall, a stay with some bright spots and areas for improvement.
The hotel offers marvelous views over the old town and the sea with a distanced view of the 'new' town. The rooms could benefit from a small table and chairs to complement the kitchenette, but their view is unmatched.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with its very accessible location and great staff, especially Mr Mahmoud at the front house. The kitchenette in the room was incredibly useful, and I enjoyed the lovely view of Doha Corniche. However, the dining experience was not up to par, especially when new management took over.
The hotel is centrally located close to the old city and Souq Waqef, making it perfect for exploring. The rooms, while spacious and equipped with a handy kitchenette, might be affected by noise from nearby industrial units. The service is exceptional, particularly the accommodating front lady manager, although there were instances of rudeness from the night shift manager. The location provides easy access to supermarkets and restaurants, but construction nearby can be a downside. Dining options vary from disappointing to great, with a good selection including made-to-order omelets. Overall, the hotel offers mixed experiences at a reasonable value.
The hotel offers a nice room with a huge window and friendly staff, but not the one I expected. The views over the old town and sea are stunning, even though on a smoking floor. The location is very near to Souq Waqif, but the surrounding area lacks appeal.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room, although not the one we initially booked, offered fantastic views and was generally clean, except for a stain in the bathtub. The street-facing location near a bus station made it slightly noisy in the evenings, but it was manageable.
